Oh, Yes They Were!

As I have mentioned before Barry's job site is on Reem Island. It's one big sand pit, no finished roads, nothing officially opened. There are lots of orange and white barriers along the sides of the construction roads that move on a weekly basis as they move the temporary roads. They are so dust covered it's hard to tell their colors, everything on the island is basically beige, the color of the sand!
Last week I had to drive out onto the island to bring him something. As I was leaving I noticed a large water tank trunk parked on the side of the road with two guys in their blue jumpsuits with scarfs wrapped around their entire heads with only their eyes peering out. It's a windy day and they are protecting themselves from the sand.
Their purpose for being there you ask? They have the water hoses and are actually cleaning the sand off the orange and white barriers so on this very windy so you can see what color they are for about an hour until they are sand covered again!
